Create nostalgia and warmth in your space with this vintage style fine art print; Butter Churn. As the old saying goes, making butter used to require quite a bit of elbow grease. It took about 15 minutes of steady winding at 60 turns a minute to turn your cream into butter. This was a great job to hand off to the children to do! Once done, you would scoop out the butter and use the wooden paddles to pat it into a block. Then, you were ready for breakfast.
You can find more information about it on page 12 of my book Nostalgique.
Butter Churn is a beautiful kitchen vintage wall art print is from my “Nostalgique” series. These are a selection of wonderful things we used to use from the 1800s – 1960s, things used by storytellers, singers, shopkeepers, and spies!
