Create nostalgia and warmth in your space with this vintage style fine art print; Pocket Watch. You can imagine in the early 1900s, top hats were the fashion, and you might find this lovely silver pocket watch resting in a drawer. William Evans of London made this watch, and you wound it by inserting a key in the back. A gentlemen would clip the chain onto his suit and slide the watch into his waist pocket, hence the name.
You can find more information about it on page 72 of my book Nostalgique.
Pocket Watch is a beautiful vintage wall art print from my “Nostalgique” series. These are a selection of wonderful things we used to use from the 1800s – 1960s, things used by storytellers, singers, shopkeepers, and spies!
