I am presenting my talk “The Wonderful Things We No Longer Use” to the Canterbury History Group this coming Monday. This is an engaging talk about the objects we used in the past from the 1800s up to the 1960s. It is based on research for my book Nostalgique. It is a topic close to my heart and I always enjoy discussing the objects from our past. I am looking forward to it! If you want to know more about the history of the area, or join the group, you can find details on their website here.
